Method is not a list of steps. It is the discipline between observing something and being willing to say what it means.
Imagine three different conversations describing the same frustration. It looks like a pattern. It would be easy to stop there.
Then a fourth conversation appears. Same frustration. Same data. But this person did find an answer.
And that changes the question.
Howedoing is not here to make the dots fit. It is here to find out whether they are actually connected.
Observing something does not mean we have explained it. Repetition is not proof. Correlation is not causation. One persistent source is not the same as many independent sources.
We do not hide the piece that ruins a neat story. We investigate it. A contradiction may weaken an explanation, force us to reformulate it, or reveal something more interesting.
Technology can move through volumes a person could not review in the same way and help detect relationships, recurrence and anomalies. But finding a connection does not mean the connection is meaningful.
AI finds connections. Method decides which ones mean something.
We separate what was observed from what was interpreted. A source claim does not become fact because it appears many times. When something cannot be verified, we say so. When it cannot be determined, we say that too.
We did not find enough evidence.
That is not an escape hatch. It is a valid conclusion when the evidence goes no further.
Whenever access and source conditions allow it, a conclusion should let you travel backward: from finding to evidence, and from evidence to the original source.

WATCH does not mean the work is over. It means the opposite: an explanation remains open to new evidence. What appears next may strengthen it, weaken it or change it.
